Mrs Sammut

A little bit about me..

Hello my name is Mrs Sammut.  I work as chaplain on Wednesday and Friday mornings. My job is to make sure the children hear, discuss and think about the Gospel of the week, to give the children opportunities to pray, to prepare whole school masses and to look after resources. I also work as a supply teacher at a school in Newcastle. My interests include reading, walking, singing, playing the piano and the recorder and helping out in various ways at St. Mary’s Cathedral.

My Favourite Children’s book… My favourite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. My two daughters loved it when they were very young. It always reminds me of the happy times we spent reading stories together.

The thing I love about St Benet’s…  The thing I love about St. Benet’s is how kind and caring everyone is.
