A little bit about me…
Hi, my name is Anne Page, I’ve been a Lunchtime Supervisor since November 2016, but I’ve been a voluntary helper in lots of areas since my daughter started St Benet’s in 1997. I also work as a Registered Childminder; at the last count, I’ve cared for 22 current and ex-pupils at St Benet’s. I love to spend time with my family, and I’m happiest when my three daughters are home with me! In my spare time, I love to read and do crossword puzzles, and I enjoy baking.
My favourite children’s book is…
As a child I was an avid reader so it’s hard to pick just one favourite. I loved all of Enid Blyton’s books, and I read all of the Secret Seven, Famous Five and Five Find-outers adventures many times, always wishing I could have such exciting adventures. The ‘St Clair’s’ and ‘Malory Towers’ made me wish I could go to boarding school, although I’m sure they didn’t reflect any type of reality! I also read many classic stories, Alice In Wonderland, Black Beauty, Little Women, The Wizard of Oz to name a few. Reading was, and still is, my passion!
The thing I love about St Benet’s is…
that it is so much more than just a school. There is always a happy and relaxed atmosphere, and the children and staff are wonderful. There is a strong emphasis on caring for each other and being kind always, qualities which make the world a better place.
