Miss Loughlin

A little bit about me..

My name is Miss Loughlin.  I am currently the Year 4 teacher at St Benet’s Primary School, but I have also taught in Year 1 for many years. As well as teaching in Year 4, I am the SENCO for the school and also lead PSHE around school promoting positive well-being. I run the “Mini Police” programme in school. and I am also a staff governor.  Teaching in St Benet’s is a lot of fun and it is a real pleasure to work with all of our school family.

Outside of School I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, shopping, going to the gym and of course going on holidays and visiting new places.  I have previously been a part of the Hexham and Newcastle Diocese Pilgrimage to Lourdes and I really enjoy being a part of the youth group.

My favourite children’s book is…
The Tiger Who Came to Tea by Judith Kerr.  The doorbell rings as Sophie and her mummy are having tea and they certainly don’t expect to see a big, furry, stripy tiger at the door!  It’s an exciting story!

The thing I love about St Benet’s is…

being a part of the school and parish’s family.  Everyone is so welcoming and happy!
